The Legacy:
Why is Budweiser the "King of Bottled Beers," and the world's biggest-selling brand? One reason is its crisp, clean taste and brilliant colour, the result of using eight or nine different varieties of hops and 70% malt. Another reason is that Budweiser is brewed using a technique called krausening - lagering at least three weeks before the brew is passed over a bed of beechwood chips. This pride in traditional brewing techniques has allowed Budweiser to maintain its dominant position in the marketplace.
The Delivery Vehicle:
If any car can be called "America's car," it would be the Ford Model T, for no car did more to bring a horse-driven society into the "Automotive Age" and, in turn, forever change much of the face of business and the modern economy. With his Model T, Henry Ford provided affordable automotive transportation to the general public - an option that previously had been limited to the wealthy and powerful. The Tin-Lizzie, as it was fondly called, was adapted for all sorts of uses, including fire fighting, farm work and commercial deliveries. As a commercial truck, the Model TT (as Ford designated its trucks) could be adapted as an open-back pickup or a panel truck. As an added incentive, the panel truck offered a large area on which a business could place its advertising message.
The Model:
Advertising Anheuser-Busch Bottled Beers in elegant graphics is a 1926 Ford Model TT die-cast model.
